Terrarium temperature gradient

Varied carnivore — Earthworms, fish (thiaminase-free) and appropriately sized pinkie mice
Avoid raw fish high in thiaminase (vitamin B1 deficiency). A varied diet; feed juveniles every 4-5 days, adults every 5-7 days.
Gestation follows a period of winter cooling; young are independent at birth.
